Experience

Project Engineer / Lead Estimator

Telecom Network Solutions | Stone Mountain, GA. December 2003-Present

Project Manager for all aspects of telecommunications horizontal cabling including the following duties:

Performing project labor and material take offs; site surveys; prepare project proposals; acquire work permits;

complete as-built drawings using AutoCAD LT as well as Microsoft Visio; submit project test results for

manufacturer warranty; meeting and coordinating with customers throughout the duration of various size

project’s from small/medium size to multi-phase project’s. Supervise field project managers and technicians

through the installation and termination of complete Data and Voice communication cabling systems that

include copper and fiber infrastructure. Familiar with Microsoft Office 2010 (Outlook, Excel, Word,

PowerPoint). Basic IT and computer support installing software, updating computer and printer drivers,

mapping network drives, setting up VPN connections and setting up Microsoft Exchange email accounts on

laptops and mobile devices. Basic knowledge in IP Video surveillance and Paxton IP Access Control Systems.

National Accounts Project Manager / Project Manager

National Accounts Project Manager for MetLife responsible for coordinating the implementation of Local Area

Network and Wide Area Network communication cabling infrastructure as needed. Responsibilities also

include coordination with a network of contractor’s nationwide to manage the deployment of structured UTP

and fiber communication cabling for multiple sites including new and reconfigured locations, make

recommendations to the customer as needed, manage labor requirements to meet customer timelines and

budgets and coordinate with AT&T for customer circuit extensions.

Lead Telecommunications Technician / Service Technician

Convention Center Long Distance| Fayetteville, GA. March 2000-December 2003

Responsibilities include installation and programming of Norstar, Comdial DSU, DXP and FX phone systems;

Key Voice, Execumail and Norstar voice mail. End user training on Norstar phone systems and voice mail.

Installation and troubleshooting of 1FB lines, ISDN circuits and high speed network connections for various

Georgia World Congress Center events. Perform site surveys for various telecom needs. Customer contact for
